Get answers to common questions about Under Arm Waxing.

Arrive with clean, dry underarms and avoid applying deodorant beforehand. Hair should be at least 1/4 inch long; avoid heavy sun exposure or exfoliation the day of your appointment for best results.

Some stinging or brief discomfort is normal, especially on the first visit. Minimizing pain includes timing appointments away from menstruation, relaxing breathing, using topical numbing if needed, and regular waxing to reduce sensitivity.

We recommend hair be about 1/4 inch (6mm) long so the wax can properly grip. If hair is too short, results may be incomplete; if too long, we may trim slightly to reduce discomfort.

Most clients return every 3 to 6 weeks depending on individual growth rates. Consistent waxing often extends intervals between services as hair becomes finer and regrowth slows.

It’s best to wait several hours before applying deodorant, and choose an alcohol-free, gentle product. For sensitive skin, avoid antiperspirants for 24 hours to reduce irritation and clogged pores.

Mild redness, tenderness, or tiny bumps are common for a day or two. Use cool compresses and soothing aloe; avoid hot showers, saunas, and heavy sweating for 24 hours. Contact us if irritation persists or infection signs appear.
