Get answers to common questions about Full Face Waxing.
Results usually last three to six weeks depending on individual hair growth, hormones, and skin type. Regular appointments every four to six weeks maintain smoothness. Avoid shaving between sessions and consult your esthetician to create a personalized schedule for best results.
You may experience mild redness or temporary sensitivity immediately after waxing; this typically subsides within a few hours to a day. We use soothing post-wax care and cool compresses. Contact us if irritation persists or you notice prolonged swelling, blistering, or severe discomfort.
Full Face Waxing can be safe for sensitive or acne-prone skin when performed carefully. We recommend a patch test and consult about active breakouts or medications. For severe acne or open lesions, alternative hair-removal methods may be advised to avoid further irritation.
Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin and ensure hair is about a quarter-inch long for effective removal. Avoid retinol, exfoliation, tanning, and strong topical products for 48 hours prior. Discuss medications or recent skin treatments with your technician in advance.
We recommend waiting at least a few hours before applying makeup; ideally avoid heavy makeup for 24 hours to reduce infection risk. If necessary, use gentle, non-comedogenic products and clean tools. Follow aftercare to soothe skin and minimize irritation.
Contraindications include recent chemical peels, sunburned or broken skin, active cold sores, open wounds, and certain medications like isotretinoin. Pregnancy and sensitive skin require consultation. Always disclose medications and recent treatments so we can assess safety and recommend alternatives if needed.
