Most clients enjoy smooth results for three to six weeks, depending on hair growth and lifestyle. We recommend scheduling maintenance every four to six weeks and following aftercare for longer-lasting smoothness and fewer ingrown hairs.

Some discomfort is normal, especially on first visits, but our technicians use professional techniques and heated wax to minimize pain. To reduce sensitivity, avoid caffeine beforehand, take an over-the-counter pain reliever if needed, and breathe steadily during waxing.

Clean, dry skin and hair about a quarter-inch long is ideal. Avoid heavy lotions or oils before your appointment. Exfoliating a day or two prior can help remove dead skin and improve results, but don’t exfoliate immediately before waxing.

Certain skin conditions, recent sunburn, injuries, or use of retinoids/Accutane may prevent waxing. Inform us about medications, allergies, or skin treatments. If you have concerns, consult your physician or our technician before booking to ensure safe hair removal.

Avoid hot baths, saunas, and direct sun for 24–48 hours after waxing. Wear loose clothing and apply a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer to soothe skin. Exfoliate lightly after 48 hours to prevent ingrown hairs and keep the area clean.

For best results, hair should be at least 1/4 inch (about 6 mm) long so the wax can grip properly. If hair is too short, wait a week or two; if excessively long, trimming slightly improves comfort.
