Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Lash Lift.

A Lash Lift typically lasts six to eight weeks depending on your natural growth cycle, aftercare, and lash condition. Touch-ups are recommended as lashes shed and new growth appears to maintain the lifted look.

When performed by a trained technician using quality products, a Lash Lift is safe and gentle. Temporary sensitivity can occur, but proper technique and aftercare minimize breakage and protect lash health.

Avoid mascara, water, or steam for the first 24-48 hours to allow the lift to set. After that, waterproof formulas are okay, though many clients skip mascara because their lashes already appear curled and defined.

Expect around 45 to 60 minutes for a full Lash Lift appointment, including consultation, mapping, and treatment. Timing varies slightly based on lash length, desired curl, and whether tinting is added.

Clients with very short, brittle, or recently chemically treated lashes, active eye infections, or certain eye conditions should avoid Lash Lifts. A consultation will determine suitability and recommend alternatives if needed.

For best results, keep lashes dry and avoid steam for 24-48 hours, skip oil-based makeup removers, brush gently with a spoolie, and schedule maintenance every six to eight weeks or as advised by your technician.
